Another one of my favorites. It's really something to see this beautiful waterfall amongst all the desert red rock (even if the waterfall is technically man-made). I made this image in 2008 while we were in Moab. I had just started shooting RAW a few months before, I had a brand-new GND filter, and the Cloud Gods were kind  I've reworked this one a couple times and am fairly satisfied with this version.

Canon Rebel XTI, tripod, GND filter
28-80 mm lens
ISO 100, F32 + 1 @ 1/2 second

It ain't Kansas, but it sure is nice. Really like the way you have kept detail through out the image. IMHO the blur of the water is just right. Thanks for sharing.

Really beautiful!
The reds and blues are excellent, and wonderful clouds!.
I wonder about possibly selectively brightening up the water a bit ? Seems a tad dark to me..

This is wonderful Angela - I like the contrast of this lovely little cascade against the barren land.

And to think I was staying in a condo while in Moab not more than a few miles from here. I wish I'd know it was there because I could have spent more than a few hours soaking up this beautiful scene! :toast:
