Owens Valley

I took this in January 2010 and it's probably my favorite B&W. This was taken in Owens Valley near the Alabama Hills. These cloud formations are caused by strong winds blowing over the Sierras (on the left) and into the valley.
Thanks,
Rudy

Very nice! That cloud looks like a giant fist about to punch the sierras.

I like this a lot Rudy. As nice as the peaks and clouds are, the FG is what makes this for me. I love letting my eyes explore the rocks and ground.
