The Sky is Green
by Stan Rose
I took a trip out to the Gunnison River a couple weeks back, and discovered these cool patterns in the river, created by silt from a tributary river mixing in with the clear water. It reminded me of clouds in a stormy sky. The jagged steep banks of the river looked like mountainous peaks when i turned my head the right way--so i handheld this shot at about a 30 degree angle. Thanks for all the support from everyone over the last couple of rough weeks.
