A female Indian elephant reaching up for some succulent young leaves. C&C would be appreciated. Thanks for taking a look.

Full frame from a bean bag.

It's nice and fun :wavey:

Well done, I like how you've managed lights on this dark subject :)

I think this is a really cool shot. The vertical crop and composition are pretty unique for an elephant photo, and obviously it was a great choice for this particular moment.

This is hilarious! This is a really fun image and an opportunity well seen. Techs look great except that the greens a tad too vibrant IMO, but that's an easy fix. :toast:

Hi Chetan,

Well-timed and I really like the splash of colour provided by the green leaves going into that pink mouth. The vertical composition is perfect here. The image is strong as presented, but would have been even stronger if you didn't have those bright areas and strong colours in the background (it did distract me some, but I completely realize you could do nothing about it and you handled the exposure on the elephant very well).

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Interesting behavior shot, for a gray animal the image seems very colorful, nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Not only do I like the vertical extension, I find the tendrils of greenery in the mouth to be a strong positive. Nicely done!
