Peacock

Went to a nearby house with 5 acres of well tended gardens and landscape exhibits. My intent was to enjoy the plant-life, and shoot foliage/flowers. But this peacock squawking, strutting, flashing and slowing spinning demanded attention. Must be mating season. Three toms were relentless following me, and pecking at my wrist-watch. I am not an avian shooter...it is too demanding. Flowers don't fly nor chase you.

Real nice comp on this and the colors are good, too. It's not easy to get irridescence in those greens. Maybe you should reconsider...this is pretty nice and the larger version is wonderful. Sharon

Terrific!! Better watch it, once you start, you might not be able to go back to shooting other things! :toast:

I reallyl ike the angle you got on this. Different than usual and it's nice. I also really like the comp and the bottom row of red colored feather prints
