Happy birthday NPN! Thought this was the most appropriate photo to put here. I didn't start birding, or photography, until about a year after NPN's birth, and when I started, it was with digiscoping. Was fun having that incredible "reach" with digiscoping, but I must say, I didn't get many 'keepers' compared to the DSLR stuff of today.

As NPN has evolved, so have I!! So, what better photo to post here, than one of my oldest, a digiscoped photo, that has served as my NPN avatar for a number of years.

I couldn't even begin to tell you what settings or anything I may have had with this shot. Digiscoped, with some Nikon Coolpix, and a Swarosvski AT-80HD scope.

I'm very guilty of not expanding to other galleries very often, so it's so wonderful to see some great work from the other galleries. Maybe I should get around a little bit more.
