Thinking back on this image from Rock Creek Canyon, it may now also be about 10 years ago that I captured it. Having made many a trip to the eastern sierras over the years the autumn always seems to be the start of the photo year for me as we break out of the summer heat here in California.
My venture to NPN more then a few years back was in direct timing with some folks I've known on-line for several years now. It was their shared communications back then that alerted me to this very fine on-line photographic world and I'm very glad to be here as a result of those shared updates.
Since my very early days here at NPN I've been very fortunate to have met numerous folks here on-line as well as many of them in the field too. That would be especially true with the very strong contingent of fine photographers from the CANP camp a.k.a, California Regional Group.
Congratulations to Jim & Donna with the on-line 10 year anniversary of NPN as well as to all of those who share their photographic interests here as well.

Wow, I've never seen this one before - definitely one of your best. The colors really pop and the clarity is fantastic. Superb work Paul.

It appears all of the aspens are waiting in line for something, winter maybe? All of the elements in this image are well crafted. The wispy cirrus in the sky adds interest without detracting from the main subject the fall color and the creek. Altogether great fall image frmo the Eastern Sierra.

Beautiful autumn image from the Eastern Sierra - dare I say molded in the Paul B. style?

I'll have to echo your thoughts with respect to meeting some great folks and photographers as a result of being associated with NPN. Great times, great moments that I hope continue on...
