Here's that little cutie again. I really liked this one with the dreamy curious head to the skies. The fuzzy feathers glow all around him and It kinda bothers me. Is it ok?.

ISO 250 7.1 @1/100 Again wish I had upped the ISO a bit.

Love this big talons. I don't mind the "glow" at all. This looks straight out of a children's book - going to have to put a hold on my owlet images until you're all done!

The fuzzy glow doesn't bother me, Cheryl. I love the pose. The oof bg seems to have an odd bokeh-do you get that often? :toast:

Cheryl, I love the pose and the angle of the tree...but with this one I can't get past the BG (sorry). Did you do something in processing? It almost looks like artifacts from cloning? Maybe, just a weird moment, but unfortunately, I find it distracting. You know I love your work, so sorry to tell you that, but have to be honest.

Hey everyone thanks for the comments. Kurt , no cloning at all on this. What I did do was burn the highlited edges somewaht of the owl which I think I may have overdone? I thought the bottom right of the owl looks like it was cloned but wasn't touched at all except for the burning. That's what I meant about the fuzzy bright feathers. The weird bokeh I think is from the wind blowing and the slow ss? That's all I can think of. Thanks for the honest critique

Cute little sucker, and I do like that pose. Didn't even notice the "glow". :toast:

I get weird bokeh with a TC sometimes. Not sure if that's the case with your combo.

Nice look upward, and while the bg is a little "weird", esp. around the back, this is still very nice. Sharon

Just love the contrast of textures here ! The beautiful eye and powerful talons add to it.
