Mossy world ( + Repost )

Posting an image after a long time.
Made this image post monsoon, last year. This was shot inside a cave in the western ghats. The tiny plants with moss all around caught my attention.

Thanks for your views in advance.

Canon 40D, Canon 17-40F4 L, Gitzo tripod, Full frame image.

That's a very interesting subject. Your choice of colors and contrast make this one look rather abstract. Personally I would have preferred a more natural rendering of the scene with less contrast on less intense greens. Just a matter of taste.

I like the comp a lot, but the greens seem overly saturated on my work monitor.

Great eye Pramod. The lines work very well. I also agree with Andreas's comments.

Pramod,

I think you did a great job isolating the tiny plants and the lines give this a nice flow and balance. I might agree the greens are almost fluorescent, but what it makes me imagine is that this is actually an underwater image taken some 20,000ft below the surface in that barely explored world in the ocean depths and the only light that has ever been seen down there is from a National Geographic exploration submarine... or something like that. And for that wild imagination, I can tolerate the saturation.

Looks great Pramod. Abstract and mysterious.
