Had to wait for the spoon to walk out into the light, but it eventually did that.

Super detail and texture in the wings. The rest is not too shaby either.

Wayne, I've been waiting for the spring spoonbill pix from you lucky guys in Florida!

This is excellent - wonderful feather detail, great handling of the whites, and nice comp.
Not sure about the oof stick on the right - maybe try it cloned out, and see what you think?
This would have been even better if you'd had a chance to cathc the reflection with a vertical comp.

Wayne, very nice feather detail, light and colors!! But I think I would clone out the OOF stick.

Gorgeous! The low-res version doesn't do this one justice...awesome detail in the higher-res version. :toast:

Fabulous! :jump: I do agree about the stick. The bird deserves all the attention.

Very nice detail and love the color in this Wayne. I clone a few things, but not much. In this case, I would probably clone the stick. I find it takes from the image. I think this one is certainly worth doing that to make it even better :toast:

Thanks for all the insights. I left the oof stick in because I feel it anchors the bird in the image. It certainly wouldn't take much to remove it, but then I beleive it would adversly affect the image as a whole.
