bog sunrise

Finally I found some pictures from my home country to post. I took this sunrise last summer while wondering deep in the woods of Lithuania. The light broke through just for a few minutes as the sun was rising and I spent the rest of the day soaked under the rain.
It's a big swampy bog area in one of the largest forests of Lithuania. These highly protected marshlands are a perfect refuge for wolf, moose, cranes and other emblematic northern species.

I like the mood here and the comp is very solid. The subtle layering of the tree line also has something about it. Technically the image is a little soft.

Simple and peaceful, Andrius! The band of light hitting the grass is a great addition. A beautiful image!

The blur of the tree is a bit bothersome, but the mood and color are wonderful. Very enjoyable.

This is real nice. Great light, and very peaceful looking. I agree that it looks a little soft.
