CANON 50D 50-500 SIGMA
ISO 400
1/1600 @ f8
Cropped 30% and cloned a couple of twigs from the tail on BL.
Another from the series.
The male is holding a very large centepide in his beak and the female is flying in to get her food.
This is the shot just before the first one where she is taking it from him.
Your comments are very much appreciated

Avi,
I was away when you posted the first and second shot of these great series, so I have never seen them carefully. As Luke said, WOW!! Superb behavioural actions so well captured.

Really cool behavior. You did a great job with this series, Avi. This one really shows the difference in size between the sexes.

Certainly not my choice for an afternoon snack, but she sure seems enthused about getting it! Wonderful interaction! Sharon

Great behavior/action in this capture. Can't say much for their culinary choice but the picture is very cool.

I still can't get my head around how much bigger the female is. No wonder though, with the male feeding her every 5 minutes ! Great action Avi

That looks like a scary meal to me. Love the action here. Amazing shot to get both hawks and their shared meal.
