Taking a break from my many water-related posts, shot this along the shoreline of one lake just after sunrise a few weeks ago. I liked the light and the overall feel of it. A larger image is posted too.

I find this very appealing Bill, always loved the pine forest. I particularly like how the reddish trunks stand out within the greens. Very well seen and presented.

I like this overall. The patterns and colors are very pleasing, but I wonder if it might benefit from darkening the far right side a bit. The slightly increasing brightness there feels a little unbalanced and pulls me out of the image.

Thanks John!! And Daniel, the sun was climbing right over that area, so that is why it does appear brighter from right to left, especially on the vegetation. But no I did not think of that, thanks!

I like this shot. I like how the reddish trunks stand out within all those greens. I think the image is a bit unbalanced. You should slightly darkening the far right end. It's a bit too bright for me there. otherwise it's a pretty nice scene.

I like the subject and the red/geen contrasts. There's a purplish-blue cast in the bg that puzzles me a bit. Interesting shot!

The contrast between green and red does work very nicely, and the pano crop fits the scene well. It may be worth trying to darken the right side a tad, just to balance it with the left 2/3. Very pretty scene.
