1st Trillium (T. nivale)

Trillium nivale is one of the first woodland wild flowers to emerge in the spring, and it's also one of the smallest of the genus. Its common names are snow Trillium or dwarf white Trillium. (I found this at a nature preserve far north of its normal range, so I suspect the original property owner may have transplanted them decades ago, before it was illegal.)

A beautiful little capture Wayne with a nice choice of DOF. The hole in the leaf looks perfectly natural surrounded by all the fallen leaves.

Nice capture of this little beauty. Very good DOF. My only small nit would be the bright area in the lower RHC. You could try a small crop to address that if you're so inclined.

Your skills shine through in every facet of this shot, Wayne. Light, color, pov, and dof choice. All splendidly done.
