Yet Another Mtn Bluebird

I am having a ball with the Mountain Bluebirds.
D90, 300f4, 1/160, iso 320, f10, -2/3 step, Natural light on cloudy day.
Backyard blind, setup perch.
Small crop then added a little canvas on top and left, curves, sharpening.

Another fine Bluebird image Dan. I'm going to have to find someone who owns a nearby farm that has these guys this summer.
The spruce perch is not something you'd expect to see them on

Can't imagine a nicer Mtn Bluebird photo than this. The detail is superb on the bird and the perch. (I saw a half dozen this weekend in the nearby National Park but I couldn't get closer than 30 yards, on a 25 degree slope! So I went home empty handed.)

gosh, Dan, I'd be having a ball too! These have been wonderful shots. The DOF on this one is wonderful--love the perch in full focus and the great bg. The bird, well, the bird looks ok too.
