I've tried to get this shot quite a few times and you got it very well Mary. I love the birds shadow on it's body, the water odrops on the body and for sure the water comming off the bill. :toast:

Welcome to NPN, Mary! This is a nice portrait you got here, I especially like the water droplets dripping from the bill. your exposure on the head looks good. For me the comp is a little tight, I'd like just a bit more room on top for the edge of the neck, and at the bottom for that last drop. I might try a little more sharpening on the face (or perhaps just the eye). Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Welcome to NPN, Mary. A nice first post. If it were mine, I'd try selectively sharpening the head just a smidgeon, and try to reduce the blue cast on the body. I look forward to more of your posts and to your comments, too.
