While this may not be the most aesthetically pleasing shot, I found it interesting how this old bridge, built in 1928, falls right between the road and the stream when taken from the correct angle. It's one of 3 such bridges that cross this meandering water. Will try to revisit under better light, but thanks for looking.

D-60, ISO-100, 1/60th at f-5.0, 22mm. Cropped out most of the overcast sky and a sign cloned in PS. Thanks for any comments.

Your eye saw this well Bill. Great composition here truly depicting "man and nature". It's as if the man made road and the river mirror each other. Pretty good DOF here for F/5. If you havd a tripod I think I would narrow the aperture even more to bring out more DOF or select your focus to get more detail in the river and a softer look on the road. Very cool.

Hi John, thanks as always!! I had my tripod w/ me, but didn't think much of it because of all the tree limbs, branches and scrub.

Then, as you say, when I got home I noticed how the road and the river and their surroundings... the way they curve, etc. are SO similar. I'll take another look when we get some vegetation. :toast:
