Good-bye kiss

Hello everybody!

Looking at this image, I know you can't relate it to spring, but it was shot two days ago. Beautiful conditions for photography, not so good for me and my equipment having to hike in rain and snow all day long. I had such a great time! I was going for a simple approach here (simplicity is one of my goals in photography). Hope you like it and I'm looking forward to your suggestions.

Dorin, this is seriously one of the best nature images I have seen in a long time. Very creative and evocative. The only thing that will make it better for me would be seeing it in a print.

A very beautiful and evocative image Dorin. I love its simplicity and complexity all at the same time (if that makes any sense). Excellent work.

I like this a lot, Dorin. Not least because I've been taking similar pictures this Winter. Beech trees are a gift to photographers in the depths of Winter (or 'Spring', in this case   ).

This is just awesome Dorin, incredibly beautiful, and full of emotion. Well done! I'd live through some more snow if it meant getting an image like this!

I really love the heavy snowfall and the title is perfect. I might do some overall dodging and burning to make the tree stand out a little more.

I'm in agreement with the comments here. I to try to keep my photos as simple as I can. Going out in these kinds of conditions, my body says no, but you can come up with some unique images as you have done here.

Hi Dorin - I must follow your work more closely!

This is very appealing. I think it is the form of the tree, so nicely brought forward by the leaves. The vertical trunks in the distance are very important to the visual impact. This is something I could hang on my wall, which says a lot because there is very little on my walls.

Thumb gave almost no clue to what was going on here. I really like it at this size. Simplicity for sure with just the right balance of abstract. Nicely done.

Nice. Very, very nice Doran. I love the hint of golden leaves in the BG and the tree trunks....It's funny how this is a spring image when there is the presence of autumn (leaves) and winter (snow) all mixed in. Lots of depth here....not the technical kind but the emotional kind.
