Hi Guy,

That's certainly a menacing looking snarl/growl you captured!. Like Greg mentioned, the light is very appealing and your exposure looks pretty much spot on. It's a shame the snow is so chopped up - aesthetically a little less appealing than if it was trackless or smoother, but I'm sure raking it before shooting the image was just a little on the impossible side

(in other words, obviously nothing you could do about this!). Even tho' the head is very centred in the frame, I think it works fine here and no other "better" crop really comes to mind. Overall an interesting and well-executed shot.
