This is my first post in this gallery... Spring has arrived in the countryside that surround the city where I live, Turin, northwestern Italy, and flowers are now starting to bloom. Here, a wild cyclamen (in fact, what we call "dog-tooth", Erythronium dens-canis I think) in the protected area of Lake Avigliana, a glacial lake that was formed during the last glaciation. Nikon digital, old 105/2.8AF micro Nikkor, ISO 100.

Antonella: Welcome to the finest Flora gallery on the planet and thanks for a fine first post here. Wonderful find and the colors are very appealing. I like your POF and angle of attack. I'm undecided about the DOF. I would like more on the flower but suspect that the BG would start getting messy. Great to have you aboard and looking forward to more. >=))>

I like this as posted Antonello. I particularly like the composition and you achieved excellent subject/ground separation. Beautiful image. Welcome to the gallery and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your images.
