Melting

The gear was endangered by the melting snow falling off the branches of pines. I had to use an umbrella to protect the gear and me .
I hope the sense of spring gets through.

This is really neat. Great sense of movement and very pretty light.

I really like this Istvan, Very unique. I like the rich colors of the tree trunk, the way the light is hitting the falling water and the overall background. Good DOF. Very nice! :toast:

Gosh, this is some heavy-duty melting, István. At this rate the place must be flooding. Don't know how you did it, but this looks like biblical melting or at least movie-set melting. Quite impressive.

Istvan,

What a great capture! The timing is of course excellent and you've captured that transition wonderfully. I watch this happen all the time in Yosemite and it actually doesn't have to mean a change in season, but simply a change in the time of day. Nice work in all aspects.

This is a very interesting image István! Very dynamic and it's great for us as viewers to get close to such a scene via your photograph.

That seems like one of the fastest melts I have ever seen! Very cool.

I love the results István, the conditions and motion here are very engaging. The light brings out the water drops and makes them sparkle with that special winter light
