The Leaning Mill

I've shot this old house (former mill I believe) a number of times, but it always looks like camera tilt. Well I'm convinced now it's the building that has a slight lean to it probably from years of water rushing past it and the stone support below. This was taken a few days ago in early morning mist, after heavy rains and spring melt swelled the stream that flows by. ISO-200, 1/200th, f3.2. Thanks for any C&C and larger image posted.

This is quite a bldg. Thanks for sharing. I agree that it's probably the
house that's tilting.

Really great looking old building. Interesting composition. The whites in the water at the corner of the building look a bit hot in this presentation. Maybe there's detail in the RAW file?

Hi Keith, yes, noticed the white is really hot as the water was screaming around the bend. Here's a wider comp, whites still a bit bright. have to check the details, but thanks for commenting!!

All the elements and textures come together in a very neat package here. As mentioned already some work on toning down the highlights in the water are the key to improving this.

Thanks Bill and Kah Kit, I appreciate the feedback! I will certainly get the whites fixed. Maybe even post one from a different season now that I'm secure in that it's the building tipping and not me!
