Nice wing spread and comp here Hal, nice detail. Just may be a little bright behind the head. If you shot in RAW, you may be able to adj. that out. Otherwise, really nice. Especially the eye. :toast:

Excellent in-flight pose that you captured in this one! If I were to be nit picky, the vertical pole (tree?) in the bg is slightly distracting. But, if you were so inclined, that seems easy enough to clone out.

I'm surprised that after all your fuss over not being able to post 1200 px images and a solution to your problem that you still are not posting the larger image with your posts. Didn't the suggested solution resolve your problem?

Hal,

I like to photograph gulls because at times they can appear very graceful, the pose you caught captures that well. As mentioned the whites on the nape are a bit on the bright side, hopefully you can bring those down if you shot this in raw.

The background here is very appealing, just enough out of focus.
