Kathy, I really like the mini star burst on the water drop. How far did you have to shut down to get that? I discovered this effect last year accidentally, but it did not show through nearly as well.

Thanks, Jamie. In looking back, I believe this was f22. I usually bracket by DOF when I do these.

Great composition, Kathy. Only suggestion would be to tone down the highlights.

Kathy we seem to have had similar sessions with cactuses (cactii?) Just found out from a friend that there is actually a Thanksgiving Cactus, a Christmas Cactus, and an Easter Cactus. The flowers open in different colors and shades, but it is the leafy shape and lobes that differentiate the three types.
Nice capture. IMHO, I'd remove the brightly lit greenery.
How do you get you rain drop effect? I use a spritz bottle but wind up with a random spray pattern with moultiple droplets? How do you get just one tear drop?

Nicely done, Kathy - especially the composition and the droplet. Agree with Carol over the highlights - otherwise it's a very good image.

How is it possible to be better than the last one? But it is! Fabulous. I just go crazy over that starburst on the droplet. I have enough trouble just getting a good, in-focus drop. Nice work on this, Kathy!

Kathy: I like this slightly wider view and the hint of greenery in the ULC. I still like the drop. >=))>

Super, over the top wonderful Kathy. The star light is top notch and not overpowering. Very well done and presented in my opinion.
