Had a great shoot at Ft. Desoto this weekend. Saw these two at the last minute. I love how close they ae together. I know the focus is a tad off on the first one but I still like the shot.

Nice capture in spite of your noted nit, textbook formation flying!

Cheryl, this is great. I think the sharpness of the two birds is good. Love the formation. These birds are two male mottled ducks by the way. I might lighten the entire image just a bit if this were mine.

Very cool shot! I don't see how they could fly that close together without bumping wings or getting in each others way. Air traffic control is needed here! Focus looks good to me.

When you've got a composition like this you can get away with it being a bit 'soft' but it actually looks pretty sharp to me. I'd be tempted to lighten the dark areas a little to see if you can bring out any more detail. Great shot Cheryl.

cheers

Really nice capture Cheryl, I like how close together they are too. I'd go a little lighter on this. :toast:

Cheryl,

I also like how close the ducks are together and the great sky background. I agree with Ron B's ID on them too. I agree with the member's who suggested going a touch lighter on this mage, it would likely show more detail. The slight difference in focus isn't an issue with me for this photo.
