Great bird and pose!
A lot of dead space here - any chance of a tighter crop?

Really nice use of dof Charlie. Love this pose, the way the tail projects towards us gives it a sense of being 3D. Lovely head angle and I really appreciate how you captured the bits of green iridescence in the feathers. The larger version is a nice treat to view! I can see so much more detail in it that I can't in the 720 pixel version.

a nice pose, Charlie, and good details in the larger version. I like the detail in the tail feathers. If it was mine I might try just a little more selective sharpening on the head only as it looks a little softer than the rest of the bird.

Great DOF and there even seems to be a little Iridescence on the wing

I love that once again he posed in such a clear environment. Roadrunners here are always in the grasses and bushes or crossing the road. Nice pose and great colors.

Great shot of this restless ( I am told) bird. I like the alert pose, detail and light here. I would prefer a tighter crop but that is subjective. :toast:

Good stuff - I like the typical pose and the harmonious tans and browns.

I really like the larger version of this one Charlie and I like the comp as it is presented. A great head turn and wonderful brown tones really make me feel like I am there in the desert. Really nice.

Pluses: The light, the head turn, the full moon, the back ground, the rock.
Minuses: Not much that I can see.
