The Suitor

After a while, you began to feel sorry for either the bull or the cows. The bull really has changed his life for a month to six weeks of the year and for most of the time, the cow wishes he wasn't around. On the other hand, I am really glad to see the ritual of life.

Thanks for looking at my picture and for any comment.

The picture is good, but unfortunately the lying trees are in wrong place, the deers lost in the branches. It would be better with a tigher cut on the right side only the bull.

Hi Jack,

I like the interaction (or implied interaction) between the two elk - tells an interesting story. It's unfortunate that the cow is standing in front of that distracting deadfall (that breaks up the outline of the animal), but you could do little with that. While I see the logic behind István's crop comment, to me cutting out the cow would kill the story line here (and the bull alone - especially how it's angled - isn't strong enough to effectively carry the image).

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Lovely colors, Jack, and a pleasing capture. Too bad about the deadfall behind the scene...and it would be nice if the bull would look a little more to the left.
