Marching Hoodoos

I've always been fascinated by the chaotic order of the Bryce formations. I liked the soldiered arrangement of the hoodoos along the upper portion, and the light was fairly soft and manageable.

Shot in May 2004, Olympus E-1 ZD50-200 at about mid-focal length.

I've photographed Bryce often, but never seen this. Well done, Bill.

I have a slow connection right now and while this image loaded, I noticed the top half makes a really nice pano by itself. Well seen and captured.

I really like what the soft light makes possible here. This really captures the geometry near the rim.
