This shot was taken while hiking along Carrick Creek in South Carolina. I'm curious if this comp, or overall photo works for you. One day I like it and the next day I'm just not sure.
Manual Exposure with tripod, dark rainy day, 1/6 sec, F7.1,ISO 100, polarizing filter, sat increase during RAW conversion.
Thanks for looking and C&C welcome.

The rocks around my area are generally not so warm, so this looks really fresh and inviting to me. It looks almost like petrified wood.

That rock is very pretty and very rich looking. I like the pattern of the water spilling over it. It does seem a little left heavy and a little dark at the top but that is just my personal take.

Must be some acidic water but love the color here John.

Well ... I must admit that this doesn't really work very well for me. There just isn't enough to hold my interest. The rock on the left is the most appealing element, and I find myself wondering if there were more like this one which could have been included in the composition.

Very nice John, and I like the fact you can actually see the water running over the top of the bolder, Very nice composition and color.
