On a recent trip to London, England.

Canon Rebel XTi EFS 55-250 f4.5-5.6 IS
ISO 400 1/250 f/5.6

Did my best to clone out a branch in front of the bird.

Thanks in advance for the helpful suggestions and advice

Hey Jimmie,
Was this a large crop? There seems to be a lot more noise than I'd expect at ISO 400. I love the tit's pose and head turn. It looks like you got good feather detail too. I think it is really underexposed, and I'd bump that up in PS. I bet the exposure was hard in the field with such a bright background, but it needs to be brighter. Only other thought is that I'd like a bit less room on the left, and more on the right. Nice work! :toast:

I really like the pose but the technical aspect of the image could be improved. I think Cam's suggestions are good ones.

Jimmie

I like the pose, but the image appears very underexposed to me. I might have tried some positive exposure compensation in the field, or fill flash to help with the exposure. As dark as this is I think trying to bump up the exposure in processing will likely make more noise.

I like the tilt of the head and that you were able to get light in the eye.

It's a neat pose Jimmie but I agree with the mentioned nits.

I agree with the others on this one Jimmy. Give it another try and I am sure you can improve on this.
