Bank Swallow

Taken in Chevak, Alaska, June 2008, at one of the very few cut banks in the Yukon Delta NWR big enough to support a colony of Bank Swallows. The Delta is generally pancake-flat. I cannot begin to describe what a remarkable place the NWR is.
60% of original, fussed with the white balance to try to compensate for the deep shade under the bank. The detail in the shot forced me to compress the JPEG pretty heavily, resulting in some artifacts.
C & C, please.
