Thankyou for all your previous comments on my last post.

This one is looking onto Coigach (Stac Pollaidh) in Scotland, from Mellon Udrigle. I have some with the sun star but prefer the moment just before this happened. I remember arriving too late by 10 minutes, as the clouds had had an awesome red lining to them. It was disappointing not to capture this amazing detail at the time but also an important lesson.

Hi Ian

I love the triangle formed by the two distant mountains and the organge light reflection on the beach, maybe you can take the darks up using TK luminosity masks. Anyway it's a beautiful coastal scene

Regards

Ian,

Certainly a glorious sunrise. It's usually a great sign when there is cloud cover like this and a break along the horizon. The light illuminating the water and the belly of the clouds is wonderful. I can't really think of any nitpicks or suggestions. I was thinking about wanting more brightness so we could see some more detail and patterns in the sand, but I'm not sure if that would help and perhaps even diminish the light throughout. And actually, viewing this in the dark makes a difference too. A great moment to have witnessed.

Beautiful light in the sky Ian. As Roberto said, you may want to try TK's luminosity masks and layers to bring out detail in the shadows.

Ian, lovely colors and reflections. I agree that a bit more details in the shadows would help, and I also see a bit of a CW tilt.

Very nice. I agree with those suggesting trying to brighten the foreground a bit (but not too much!). I don't know whether it will really be better, but I'd think it's worth a try.

Perhaps the tiniest tweak of the shadows as mentioned but this is wonderful as is!

Great composition with the water leading to the sunset. I too would vote for opening the shadows a bit.

Love the light and color, and especially those patterns and textures in the foreground. Amazing image.
