Lovely green larvae, really adds to the fine Bluebird photo. The perch looks a bit plain, but that's all I can even remotely find fault with. Your first post, but something tells me you must have been at this avian photography thing for a while... Very Nice!

very nice shot, Danny. Great color and background, and the prey in the bill is the perfect touch. I'll look forward to seeing more of your work.

An excellent first post, Danny. I like the in-your-face feel of the image, and the colors are great.

Danny,
Welcome to NPN.
I like the larvae in the bill, the great look at the eye and the pose of the bird.
The background as some striations or what looks like moiré stipling that I would work on if this were mine.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

A very nice first post Danny. You can post larger versions , the minimum size preferred is 720px on the longest side.
Very nice colours and a pleasing BG, although, noise reduction is probably what caused the striations .
I would also suggest just a little more room around the bird, specifically on the left.
I look forward to seeing more !!

I really like this photo. The background is perfect. The photo is so sharp, and the colors of the bird are beautiful. What a great capture, especially with the worm in its mouth.
