Surf Grass

I found this bright green surf grass against a bed of rich dark kelp at Tongue Point on the north shore of the Olympic Peninsula. The subject was in shade, but was also catching the reflection of a blue sky. Nature lit this little scene much better than I could have.

The curve here is great. Fascinating subject and overall i really like this. Minor nits: it feels a bit tight to me, would prefer a little more space around the edges. Also, the post looks a tiny bit soft.

I love these things. The colors, textures, and shapes of seaweed is a great subject matter. The intense color is nice too. Agree with Stan that it looks a bit soft.
