Blaines Eagle
by Matthew Lippert
Hello,
I don't normally take bird pictures but I was out this week enjoying the sunset here in Blaine Washington when I saw one of the eagles flying around. I happened to be in the right place at the right time. This shot is from a series I took as the eagle approaches an old post to land on. It was getting dark and I had to set up rather fast. I thought I would share with you folks. Your comments are always welcome.

4 commentsI think you did very well considering the light conditions to get some details in the dark & white feathers of the eagle. You don't mention using any exposure compensation, but that may have helped or using a little fill flash.
