As I was heading out the door the other day, I looked in the backyard, and there was a large flock of Warblers, Chickadees and Kinglets flitting around the trees. I quickly went and grabbed my camera, and this is what I got before they quickly were on thier way!

Olympus e3
Olympus ZD 300 f2.8
ISO 640
f5.6
1/500th
FL50R on TTL Auto
Cropped for comp
HH

Normal routine in PS. Comments and critiques welcome. Thanks

I love the pose where he almost looks like he's standing on tiptoe. Excellent details. Do you still have flowers blooming up there? The flowers add a very nice touch.

I like this Mike. Great details and nice and sharp. A minor nit is the beak being in front of the flowers making it a bit hard to pick up, but that is very minor on a nice image.

My wife has a strange tree that flowers in the winter. The birds love it!

Great technicals on the bird, but, for me, the combination of the flowers and dark regions of the BG add a lot to the image. Very, very nice.

Michael,

The setting adds punch to an already beautiful bird!

Nice detail on the bird Michael and i like the eye contact. Can't decide whether that many flowers (which are very nice) draws attention away from the warbler.

cheers
