I was supposed to go down to Arches for Thanksgiving, but plans fell through. So, the best I could do was dig up an image from last Thanksgiving and process it over the weekend.

Classic. Looks really different without the warm light on the rock, but I like it.

I have always seen this scene with warm light on the roscks (unfortunately only in pictures by other photographers :frown: ).
This light makes the scene quite different, and quite interesting.

The more muted colors look nice here, as opposed to the classic post sunrise (is it sunrise?) when the rocks are glowing... now I can appreciate all the little textures.

Yes, it was morning. I could put a little more heat on the rocks, but I was liking the way this was going.

Well, the comp is pretty standard, but I really enjoy the soft light and colors. Nice capture.

Ron,

Classic and wonderfully captured view. Great image showcasing the earth's shadow, which is a nice compliment to this scene. Having never been there, it's hard to comment on the color, but I can say that it works pretty nicely. I would be curious though how this would fair with some reduction in magenta? Personal choice and direction of course... Nice job!
