My first post in Avian. I sure respect you folks for the great effort and postings you do. Great job to all of you. :toast:
I took this as a series while at the beach in Florida, and found out just how difficult avian photography is.

Very nice image, Bob! There are a couple of spots that are a little distracting, but other than that, I love it! :toast:

Bob: I'm not a bird guy but the action here and the wing positions are just perfect. Since it's not quite tack sharp I think I would be tempted to clean up the spots in the BG and then ortonize the birds. A really nice capture. :toast: >=))>

You got some great movement in the BG not to serious that its not 100% sharp it takes time to get the knack of tracking them  :wavey:

I like the sense of motion that the striated background and the wing positions give. Some of the whites look a bit hot. Better BIF shot than I've ever gotten.

Robert,

I like the composition of the image a lot. It could be sharper I suppose but I'm not sure that would actually strengthen the image - at least for my tastes. As it is, the sense of motion is nicely conveyed and the position and forms of the birds in flight really compliment each other nicely. I like the image very much.
