Avian Landscape

Difficult to decide which forum for this one.
It is, of course, the back of an American Wigeon, but I have cropped it to resemble a landscape. The 'sky' in the background is actually water. I have a print on the wall at home which gets a lot of double takes.
Since this is close to abstract, I have felt free to work over this more than usual in post processing, using Nik for tonal contrast and sharpening.
Suggestions for improvement always welcome.
