After a dismal season in Acadia NP in 2009, I thought I'd grab a shot from 2008. This was on my drive up Cadilac Mtn, stopping to shoot into the valley below. C and C's are welcome.

Great layers, colors and mood. The fog really separates the foliage nicely.

Never had conditions like these when when I've driven up Cadillac!
Love that mist, the dark reds contrast nicely, and I especially like the diagonal slant of the trees. Wonderful layering as well. Great capture Mitch!

Beautiful Mitch. I love how this starts with the more lively colors up front and fades into the more subtle coloration.

Nice colors Mitch-the fog separating the tree lines adds nice drama to the scene. :toast:

A beautiful arrangement of autumn layers, Mitch. I love the way the fall colors start off bold and become a bit more subtle as they are softened by the fog. :toast:
