Photographed this Lady Bug early morning to catch the heavy dew. It was 6:30 AM and the area was still mostly shaded from the morning sun. I would have liked to have her facing me but no cooperation from her, must have been my morning breath  .
1/20sec, F14, ISO 100, Canon 100mm Macro, Flash, tripod, digital exposure +.4 during RAW conversion and about 20-30% crop
Thanks for looking and C&C Welcomed.

Very well mastered compo. It would be excellent already without water drops, but the water drops, especially on the Bug back, make it perfect. Nicely done John. :toast:

I agree with Miro, the droplets make this special. I also like the red-green colour scheme. Great shot!

I don't think I've ever seen droplets of water on one of these before. I love it! Great work, John! :toast:

John: Great find and beautiful capture. The droplets are icing on this excellent shot. I would probably crop a bit off the right side and place the bug slightly off-center - just personal preference.

Gary, thanks for your input. Here's a crop of the same photo following your suggestion. I removed some of the image on the right side, placing the bug off center and also cropped alittle more off the top. What do you think?

Nice detail in the LB. The comp seems a bit off with the LB being so low in the frame (both the original and re-post).

Hi John: I like the repost better but Sam is probably right in saying the the crop is a bit tight along the right and lower edge.
