Snow Dusting

Taken at the same time as my previous post. It was a winter wonderland in Jasper National Park and it was a reward for driving most of the night to get there for the morning light. I had hoped for the alpen glow but it was overcast and got this light instead.

I know the bright area where the sun broke through is a little hot but I think it emphasizes the quality of the light and enhances the mood. So I do not think it detracts from the shot.

I look forwards to your thoughts on this, especially regarding the composition. I am sitting on the fence on that one. :frown:

Your comments and critiques are much appreciated.

Thank you.

What a peaceful, gentle scene. Love the path leading into the forest. Well done! :toast:

Nice mood to this William and the trail is very effective in leading the eye and creating depth.

Nice shot, I would like to see just a little more detail in the path. Maybe if it was posted at the larger size more detail would show.
