We don't have mountains or oceans here in Augusta, but the mornings are good anyway. Took this at a small park area off the Savannah River. Please let me know what you think.

I think this is a very nice, moody shot, Bob. We all try to make the most of what we have available and you have shown that mornings in Augusta can be good indeed. For what it's worth, I think a 2x3 aspect ratio, cropping a little off the bottom, makes a stronger image, but, that is nothing more than a personal preference. At any rate a very nice job.

Peaceful and I like the muted colors. Maybe a little bit off the bottom but not too much, the reflected trees are nice. My eye keeps getting pulled to the bright are of sky. Could that be toned down just a tad? Nice job.

I like this photo, introverted, serene, pastel. If you could ever do this over, you could try to position yourself so that nearer trees do not merge as much with the background.

Peaceful, serene, calm, relaxing, those are some words that immediately come to mind when I look at this scene, Robert. Nice work.

This scene is dreamy,
I love the reflection and the misty atmosphere

I would recomend to reduce the left side of the image a little bit and add more from the right
where to balance the work with those two trees :)

great work

Bob,

Very quiet and peaceful. The fog certainly creates that mood here. Personally, I like the symmetry and wouldn't crop anything. My only nit would be the color; it's a little too cyan for my taste, but then I wasn't there and it's really a matter of personal interpretation. Also, I will mention the overall softness, but understand that it also may be appropriate with the fog and mist.

A lovely scene.

I definitely like the soft quiet mood there. The strong cyan-ness in the light part of the sky is a bit distracting.

The morning fog has created a wonderful serene atmosphere, Bob. Looks like you made the most of your opportunity that morning. My only suggestion; and this is just a personal preference; would be to tone down the cyan a little bit.

Hi Bob,

I think the mood here is really good. The fog creates a soft feel to this image.

My favourite part of this image though is how the trees on the left bend in toward the little clump of bushes on the right. A connection is implied that ties the image together very well, and that is the essence of the shot for me. Some little nits are the hotspot in the upper right of the sky, and something to watch for when making reflection shots is symmetry. In this image, there is more sky above the trees than in the reflection--if shooting a horizon that divides the frame evenly in half, you may want to achieve a more perfect division. The extra sky does not add to this image, in my opinion.

Composition, etc., all work very well for me. I do tend to agree with the other comments about the cyan, but the only place it gets me is in the hot spot in the URC. At least on my monitor, the colors get a bit funny right there.
