Every couple of years I make the long drive from Michigan to my favorite place-The Rocky Mountians. This trip was bitter-sweet for me for I knew it would be my last one for a while. Sweet because my wife was pregnant with twins, bitter because it meant no more Kokanee for awhile (not available in my part of the country.)
This photo was taken around Jasper Canada with my old camera, an HP photosmart 850. No photo info available I just thought I would dig it out for this weeks theme.
Thanks for looking and any C&C welcomed.

PS... SEND SOME KOKANEE. :jump: :toast:

Interesting shot! I love the fg detail on the rhs. I also like the framing, but id crop the very top to get rid of the sky. Looks like it might have a slight CW tilt.

You got some great details especially on the RHS. I also like your SS to convey the power of the falls. Personally I'm not real sold on the framing. If the lower branches of the tree on the left were gone allowing for a better view of the falls, I'd like it a lot more. But I know sometimes it's hard to shoot falls & forests like this without having something in the way!
