Flaming

Heuchera 'green spice' with fallen leaf from Japanese Maple.

Zeiss 35 mm, Nikon d300. 1/18 and 1/8ss.

Altered colors of heuchera w/emphasis to golds which I wanted for complimenting the flaming leaf. Selective burn/dodge and vignette.

...oh boy...fall leaves are starting to rot. It is ending, soon.

I really like this shot, there is such a contrast, the reds/yellows really pop and I love the detail from the plants in the background

Striking image, Ken! Beautiful textures and patterns. I like the placement of the
leaf and its colors go so well with the softer colored BG. Well done.

This is one of the best autumn/fall photos I've seen this year so far, if not the best! I like colourful contrasts and this one is really amazing. The contrast in structures of leaves in background and maple leaf is excellent and the composition together with lightning are nicely finishing this superb shot.
