I've seen that the colors don't work in comparison to my prepared pic.
So I try to send again the same photo but with different color setting.

Beautiful lighting in the second post Monica. For my tastes there is a lot of kind of empty space at the bottom. If you had a still lake with the reflection intact I think your comp would work well but as it is with the amount of rocks there I think I would crop almost one inch from the bottom.

Monica,

I prefer the light in the second image, your low angle, the warm tones of the bird and shoreline in contrast to the cool tones of the water.

I like Avocets too because of how elegant they look, their graceful curves and colors are very pleasing to my eye.
