In the Spotlight

Gallery: NAD 2009Posted October 7, 2009474 views10 comments

Taken on NAD 2009. The day began with rain and fog. When the ray of sun hit this island that happened to have some fall color it glowed beautifully. Taken with Canon 40D, using 100-400 IS lens.

This is gorgeous Patricia! What perfect illumination and timing on your part. It'd be beautiful as a horizontal as well, that is if the right side doesn't have some distracting element that you avoided here. Great shot!

Yep, have a horizontal with lots of space on the right... just water and evergreens, no color.

The light here is really beautiful, nicely done! I'd be curious to see that horizontal as well.

A wonderful image with light that nature photographers love, Patricia. When everything goes perfect like this I am sure it had made your day.

A sweet extraction from the surrounding landscape. Great spot light and a timely exposure.
