Complex scene with some nice light. My preference might be for a slightly lighter sky given the brightness of the mountain top. The bottom 2/3 of the image could almost be its own picture.

The detail in the large version looks great, I like the reflection of the mountain in the frozen pond.

Very nice! Did you get there via The Goat Trail (one of my very favorite hiking routes in Alaska)?

Beautiful light Doug. Love the reflection in the ice covered pond. A frosty morning for sure. I'll bet there is snow on the ground there now.

Nice light and reflection. I like seeing the film of ice on the water. Good detail.

Thank you folks!
Jim, I think we started out on the initial part of the goat trail from the remote landing strip at Skolai, then it goes over to Chitistone Pass, which is to the left of this mountain.
Vance, yes, it was threatening to snow up there on our last day, causing us to bail 1 day earlier than planned so we didn't get stranded by the plane not being able to pick us up.

A beautiful place, and some nice light combined with solid comp makes for a nice result here

Colros and tones look great in the soft light. I think the comp is strong.
