There is always something magical for me when I see these wild horses galloping across the desert. Shot with Canon 1D Mark III, 100-400mm at 200mm. F8 @ 1/500th ISO 800.

Great shot Tamara, there's a lot to like about this; the subject, the pose, the wind, the habitat - a very powerful image. If this were mine, I'd crop off a slice from the bottom, not much, just enough to get rid of some of the oof foreground and the dark elements near the llc. Well done.

I love horses and this is probably one of the , if not the best, photo I have seen yet of a wild stallion running in the desert. You did awesome, the clouds, the mountains in the background and the stallion to top it off, it all just calls out to the wild. awesome job.

A wonderful action image complemented by stormy sky & clouds.
Agree with Marsel's suggestion about croping some bottom.

What a powerful image Tamara. Great subject, love the wild mane and tail, but also the wild desert BG the clouds and the light, really cool. I do find the stallion a bit too centered, not that it hurts the image much, but placed a bit more to the right would be stronger. I support the tiny crop from the bottom.

Classic composition -- very dramatic and powerful. The horse close to dead center might not float every boat but it works. In fact why not put it in the center with a little crop? Anyway -- excellent image.

Beautiful - great stallion, excellent sky, and fine detail. The flowing mane and tail is exceptional. EP material, for sure.
I'd also like a tiny bit off the bottom and a bit more in front - more of the light areas of grass would add even more interst.
Stunning image!

Beautiful Tamara! I love horses too, this is a wonderful image. The horse looks so powerful and the cloudy sky and bg are perfect.
