Venus, the Moon, Jupiter, and Mercury over Tucson, AZ. Taken December 28, 2008.

Just testing the waters here to see if this measures up to your standards...

Suggestions for improvement welcome.

Canon 30D
EF 24-70mm @ 30mm
5 sec @ f/2.8
ISO 200

Does it measure up to YOUR standards and convey what you are wishing? That is what really matters, imo. sometimes, images here are lovely but "typical" - meaning "nothing different" even if a great shot.

I like this a lot. This is "outside the box". great sunset, and gradient from blue to black.
Nice city lights, moon, and stars.

Thanks for the feedback.

Mike -
I've actually got this image titled "Four Planets and the Moon" on my PBase gallery, so thanks for validating that! :wavey:

Wow, that's great Sam! The spacing between the planets and the moon works quite well.

Cool image Sam,
Excellent planetary exhibition
I like the timing, with the colors coming through nicely at the horizon. Great view of the Tucson city lights also..
Well done :toast:
